Gabrielle "Coco" Chanel

I was so excited to hear a year ago that there will be a film of the life of Coco Chanel and even more happy when I realized that the main part will be played by my favorite actress Audrey Tautou! Still I haven't got a chance to see the movie but I'm already in the mood for it. There are good fashion books and memoirs of Chanel and I usually always like the written versions more but it's always different to see the stories put on the screen with lots of effort.

La Vacanza in Liguria

Finally I got some days off to go for a short vacation out of Milan to beautiful Riviera in Liguria. Sun, beach, pesto, focaccia and lots & lots of ice cream!

Soft Covers for Leisure Time

I'm really getting into a holiday spirit even though for now it means just long weekends (still lots of work to do before the real vacation..) But despite that I always love getting new paperbacks to read at the beach/park/pool and get my mind into a breezy, light-hearted state. Some of my favorites I have read already a couple of times like the ones from Sophie Kinsella & Plum Sykes. Then there are always some new findings that I'm eager to pick.
