Hors de Prix

I first time went to France when I was 10 years old where we visited Nice, Cannes and Monaco. Eventhough it was a long time ago, it has stayed in my mind as a special vacation. Actually it was at the time of the Cannes film festival but of course I didn't understand the meaning of it then, I was just happy eating still so rare white chocolate and candied apples while my mother was trying to spot celebrities.

At least half of my favourite movies are French and one of them is 'Hors de Prix' where adorable Audrey Tautou and Gad Elmaleh make such a funny couple together. In addition to the beautiful landscapes of Riviera, luxury hotels and restaurants, I was really intrigued about the spending parts when she hits the stores to buy gorgeous underwear, dresses and accessories. But the thing I like the most was the attitude to enjoy the life to its fullest with a little glamour! Eventhough in the end it turned out to be something more than just things you can buy with lots of money..

Braccialetti

I have preferred white gold and silver jewelries for many years now. As a kid I used to receive more yellow gold pieces but then I abandoned them to my jewelry box and changed completely to white ones. My skintone is naturally quite light so they go well for me but recently I really have started liking again the golden ones specially now when I'm getting a bit more tanned towards the summer (it's already +30 degrees in Italy, yey)

I also like mixing the two shades together or even better; yellow gold with clear stones (if not diamonds, crystals are fine). Here some beautiful ones..

Fairyland

Luisa Beccaria Primavera/Estate '09

I 'm loving Beccaria's feminine style. The colors and the textures are so light and dreamy. Also the models natural wavy hair and sheer make-up match the flowy fabrics and designs. Adorable..

Rosso = Passione

DIO STA DOVE ABITA L'AMORE...

Red is such a feminine and passionate color that goes always well on every season. It can be very obvious or just an adding to otherwise simple look via accessorizing and make-up. What could make you more dramatic than a little black dress with red lips? Or a plain outfit with a pair of red shoes/a bag? And my favourite after French manicure is still short red nails. Without mentioning the other important reds in my life; roses, strawberries, cherries, love..
